Hidden in Plain Sight: How Unauthorised Migrants Strategically Assimilate in Restrictive Localities in California

Abstract: Both classic and revised theories of immigrant assimilation suggest that, over time, immigrants exchange their ethnic and cultural behaviours for the practices and norms of the receiving society.
