“…Results show that even with one layer the color of the cloth is usable for projections but still provides a very high contrast image in the IR spectrum. With two layers the contrast in the IR spectrum is still high compared to the results for IR-absorbing ink provided by Willis et al [45] Thus, two layers provide a good trade-off between a close to white color of the projection surface and a still high contrast in the IR spectrum which is suitable for marker tracking. • Trade-off 3 -marker size vs. marker detection confidence: The trackable minimal segment size is a crucial factor for a suitable projection mapping.…”
