“…The 27 Al magic angle spinning (MAS) NMR spectra of mesoporous Al-ZSM-5 before and after calcination show signal at about 55 ppm (Figure 12), which was assigned to tetrahedrally coordinated aluminum. The catalytic activity of the mesoporous Al-ZSM-5 was tested by acetalization of cyclohexanone with methanol, and the result was compared with that of the commercial HZSM-5 (Si/Al = 23).…”

“…For the laboratory plant experiments the degree of crystallinity must be taken into account, since only the crystalline component is relevant for catalytic activity. This applies, in particular, to the synthesis‐related lower crystallinity in the catalysts ZS16 and ZS16D . In contrast to A1RK, the last two mentioned catalysts also follow the trend of increasing crystallinity values after desilication with 0.1 M NaOH solution.…”

“…A relationship between pore connectivity and coking properties was described in literature . The influence of the change of the different acid sites on the reaction, which is due to the different synthetic methods , is still unclear.…”

“…As shown in Figure 3, samples MZ‐5(60, 0.025, 50) and MZ‐5(90, 0.025, 50) displayed typical type IV nitrogen physisorption isotherms with H1 hysteresis loops, which confirm that highly uniform mesopores were formed. The samples MZ‐5(30, 0.025, 50) and MZ‐5(120, 0.025, 50) also had typical type IV nitrogen physisorption isotherms; however, the hysteresis loops changed from H1 to H4, which represents hierarchical pore structures with disordered mesopores 31. When the H 2 O/Si ratio increased to 150, the corresponding sample MZ‐5(150, 0.025, 50) displayed a nitrogen physisorption isotherm with hysteresis loops that were hardly evident.…”
