“…Figure c exhibits the GCD curves tested at various current densities, the calculated specific capacitances of the cell are 55.8, 51.3, 46.9, 40.7, 36.3, and 32.3 F g –1 at 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 15, and 20 A g –1 , respectively. The Ragone plot of the cell is shown in Figure d, the maximum energy density can reach 15.2 W h kg –1 at 700 W kg –1 , which is beyond those carbon-based solid-state capacitors that are recently reported. In addition, even at a high power density of 14 kW kg –1 , the energy density can still maintain 8.8 W h kg –1 . The inset shows that five red LEDs can be lightened by three symmetric capacitors.…”

“…For supercapacitive performance, a material with a high specific surface is favorable for achieving a high specific capacitance value. 20 To investigate the nature of porosity and accurate information regarding the specific surface area of m- NTTO, N 2 adsorption−desorption isotherms were recorded at 77 K (Figure 1b) showing a type IV N 2 adsorption−desorption isotherm with H 3 type hysteresis loop 61 as per the IUPAC. A sharp increase in volume adsorbed at low relative pressure (inset, Figure 1b) (P/P o < 0.02), indicates the presence of plenty of micropores whereas the H 3 type hysteresis loop indicates the presence of mesopores.…”

“…The average particle size of NTTO was calculated from the SEM micrograph (Figure a) using ImageJ software (inset, Figure a) showing that the particles are 20–25 nm in size, which can be said to be zero-dimensional nanoparticles. To further understand the porous nature, the N 2 adsorption–desorption isotherm was recorded at 77 K (Figure S1, Supporting Information) which shows a type IV curve with H3 type hysteresis loop indicating the presence of micropores in the material. The pore size distribution (PSD) curve (inset in Figure S1, Supporting Information) indicates that the average pore size lies in the range of 1.5 to 3.5 nm.…”
