Hierarchies of Hofstadter butterflies in 2D covalent-organic frameworks

Abstract: The Hofstadter butterfly is one of the first and most fascinating examples of the fractal and selfsimilar quantum nature of free electrons in a lattice pierced by a perpendicular magnetic field.
