High-concentration Photochemical Upconverters

Abstract: Effective photochemical upconversion based on triplet-triplet annihilation requires high concentrations of excited absorbers, due to nonlinearity with excitation density. Pursuing this, nanoparticle-tethered triplet sensitizers were prepared, characterized by optical spectroscopy, and assessed as upconversion materials.
