“…It is known that, in the CaMoO 4 matrix, the CaAO bonds are shorter than the SrAO bonds in SrWO 4 , while the Mo 6+ ion exhibit smaller radius and thus stronger polarization than that of W 6+ [22], as a consequence, the CaMoO 4 host would endow the RE dopants with a more intense crystal field environment, and favor the luminescence and temperature sensitivity of Er 3+ ions. Upon such consideration, in this work, the Er 3+ /Yb 3+ :CaMoO 4 phosphor is synthesized, and its temperature dependent luminescent performance is investigated.…”
