High Fat Diet During Pregnancy And Lactation Induces Hypertension In Adult Offspring Rats

Abstract: An adequate nutritional support is important to ensure a normal development of the fetuses. Changes in the nutritional support during gestation may lead to transitory or permanent structural and functional changes of several organs of the offspring. We aimed to investigate the impact of a high fat diet during the gestation on cardiovascular and autonomic nervous systems (ANS) in the offspring of rats. High fat diet was given from day 1 of gestation until weaning of puppies. Sixty‐day‐old offspring from High Fa… Show more

“…Among the factors responsible for this are the extrusion process, the extruder die itself and the drying process, since the geometry of the block in question can generate deformations with the material's own weight. This information is of significant importance for the standardization of parts and consumer use, so much so that the bibliography [10] describes that all ceramic blocks only meet the appearance evaluation criteria, since they did not present breaks, irregular surfaces or deformations. The post-confection and transport phase contribute to the worsening of the deformations [11].…”

“…Pilz et al (2015) [11] also found similar problems in traditional blocks, when 60% of the brands studied did not reach the minimum value of 1.5 MPa. Santos et al (2011) [10] corroborate this by indicating that the ceramics studied also do not reach the minimum necessary.…”
