High Frequency of Plant Regeneration through Adventitious Shoots Proliferation from Leaf Explant of Patchouli–Pogostemon cablin (Blanco) Benth

Abstract: A b s t r a c t A r t i c l e I n f oPlant regeneration potential through adventitious shoots proliferation was studied from leaf explant of evergreen perennial aromatic herb, patchouli plant, or Pogostemon cablin. Leaf explant showed differentiation of embryogenic callus on Murashige and Skoog's medium (MS) supplemented with 2,4-D 0.5 mg L -1 , 3% sucrose and 0.9% agar.
