High-frequency spectral density of equilibrium radiation and zero oscillations in the presence of electron gas

Abstract: Based on the general expression for the spectral density of equilibrium radiation in a nonrelativistic plasma medium, the high-frequency asymptotics is found for an electron gas accounting for the spatial dispersion of the transverse dielectric permittivity. The necessity of modifying zero oscillations in the presence of a collisionless plasma medium is shown.
