Abstract:Introduction: Appendiceal mucinous neoplasms (AMNs) are rare and account for 1% of gastrointestinal neoplasms and the diagnosis is mostly incidental. In spite of advances in the understanding of AMNs and their association with peritoneal disease, AMNs are still confusing entities in respect to their diagnosis and treatment alike.
