Abstract:Lithium‐ion hybrid capacitors (LICs) have become promising electrochemical energy storage systems that overcome the limitations of lithium‐ion batteries and electrical double‐layer capacitors. The asymmetric combination of these devices enhances the overall electrochemical performance by delivering simultaneous energy and power capabilities. Lithium titanate (Li4Ti5O12, LTO), a spinel zero‐strain material, has been studied extensively as an anode material for LIC applications because of its high‐rate capabilit… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
