High-power high-beam-quality sealed-off master oscillator – power amplifier system oscillating in the middle infrared spectral range on strontium atomic transitions

Abstract: High-beam-quality sealed-off master oscillator – power amplifier system is developed and studied based on an atomic strontium vapor laser and delivering high-power laser radiation in the middle infrared spectral range. A diffraction self-filtering of the laser radiation is used to reduce the laser beam divergence to the ultimate diffraction limit.
