Abstract:Conjugated polymer (CP) based microspheres of very high definition and outstanding photonic and luminescent properties are prepared by a technique based on slow solvent‐controlled diffusion into micelles formed by the surfactant cetyl(trimethyl)ammonium bromide (CTAB). Poly[(9,9‐di‐n‐octylfluorenyl‐2,7‐diyl)‐alt‐(benzo[2,1,3]thiadiazol‐4,8‐diyl)] (F8BT) and mixtures of F8BT with poly[2‐methoxy‐5‐(2’‐ethylhexyloxy)‐1,4‐phenylene vinylene (MEH‐PPV) are used for this purpose.
