High Rates of Schizophrenia in Adults With Velo-Cardio-Facial Syndrome

Abstract: Background: Velo-cardio-facial syndrome (VCFS), a syndrome characterized by an increased frequency of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, is associated with small interstitial deletions of chromosome 22q11.
