High Resolution Scattering of He Atoms and D<sub>2</sub> Molecules from the LiF(001) Crystal Surface

Abstract: In the present dissertation a flexible, high-resolution molecular beam apparatus is described which allows surface scattering experiments over a wide range of final angles for fixed incident angles of 0 to 90 degrees.
