“…Table 1 gives the spectral regions, the number of transitions and the maximal values of the rotational numbers J and K a for the 29 bands. Results of previous studies of the HD 16 O absorption spectra in this region have been published in [15,16,[22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30]. According to the recent review of the IUPAC task group [21], overall 5291 transitions have been observed in these previous studies between 8800 .…”

“…The intensities plotted are those from PS calculation since in most previous work no information is provided about absolute intensities. Lines assignments have been made using the results of [27,28,30] (so called ''trivial assignment'') and on the theoretical calculation of the vibration-rotation spectrum of HD 16 O, which was made by S.A. Tashkun. This list is available at http://spectra.iao.ru.…”

“…The rotational structure of the HDO energy spectrum has been significantly less studied than for the major isotopic modification of water. In [7], results are presented from a study (using an intracavity spectrometer) of the energy structure of HDO in the 9100-9640 cm -1 region; [8] reviews studies of the absorption spectra of this molecule in the 9600-18,350 cm -1 region carried out up to 2003. The combination of the high-sensitivity intracavity method with the use of high-temperature cuvets opens up new possibilities for observing lines with large values of the rotational quantum numbers J and K a .…”

“…To increase the spectral resolution, in the spectrometer a diffraction grating (150 lines/mm) is used, operating at the 12th order of dispersion for the wavelength 1.06 μm. The specifications of the spectrometer are as follows: spectral range 9380-9460 cm The special design of the quartz cuvet made it possible to carry out studies varying the temperature in the range 300-1000 K. Studies of the absorption spectra of HDO in this spectral region were carried out in [7] using an intracavity spectrometer based on a diode laser. In the region 1.0-1.1 μm, the absorption spectrum of HDO was recorded at the common pressure of the mixture of three isotopomers of water, 18 torr, with threshold sensitivity of ~5⋅10 -9 cm -1 and spectral resolution 0.04 cm -1 .…”
