“…PCB motors have been used in a variety of industrial and domestic applications, where characteristics like compact size [6, 9–12], high efficiency [9, 10, 13, 14], high power density [14, 15], reduced acoustic noise [6, 16], high current density [17, 18], low‐cost [1, 10, 11, 19], dynamic stability and reliability [11, 22], design flexibility [11, 20], and easy integration with the power electronic circuit and control [21] for electrical motors are desired. Moreover, PCB winding minimises the harmonic component in the back EMF of the motor [5, 13, 22].
