Abstract:Inelastic neutron scattering (INS) measurements of the vibrational frequencies in d-Zr hydride containing uranium, ZrH 1.6 U 0.32 , have been performed in the range of high temperatures (between 293 and 973 K) at the DIN-2PI time-of-flight spectrometer at the IBR-2 pulsed reactor of JINR, Dubna. From the temperature dependence of the generalized vibrational density of states (GVDS), information on the H potential has been obtained. Also the high frequency limit of lattice vibrations as well as the frequency of… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
