Abstract:Aims: Acute rupture or erosion of unstable atherosclerotic plaques is a major cause of adverse consequences of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, often leading to myocardial infarction or stroke. High uric acid (HUA) is associated with the increasing risk of cardiovascular events and death.
