The purpose of the article is to characterize innovative and cultural transformations of the educational environment on the principles of digitalization and the existing barriers. The objectives of the study were to find out the use of digital tools and to outline the barriers hindering their implementation; to describe the efficient algorithm of implementation of innovative and cultural transformations. Within the framework of research, one analyzed 31 works devoted to the problems of transformations of educational environment and its digitalization from 2018 to 2022. As a result, theoretical research is linked to 5 articles. 4 articles described the prospects of future development of education under digital changes, and 6 studies were oriented towards the impact of COVID on digitalization. Also, the course of transformations in developed (USA, Finland, Norway, and Turkey) and developing countries (Ukraine, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Thailand, China) was analyzed. A systematic literature review and synthesis of conceptual research results on the problem were used. The case study to describe the peculiarities of implementation of digital technologies and to identify barriers of traditional learning within the educational process was carried out. To collect and process the data an interviewing, a pedagogical observation, an in-depth review, an open-ended survey, and methods of statistical analysis were used. The results evaluated that all the participants of the survey consider digitalization an effective innovative transformation and both teachers and learners have similar preference in using various digital tools. Also, the study revealed that teachers and learners face a number of barriers that complicate the educational process. To enhance the efficiency of educational environment and to achieve pedagogical intentions one outlined the measures to remove the barriers identified. The study showed that a barrier-free digital educational environment could enhance the efficiency of education of the future where learners will be prepared to various challenges of information society.

Cognitive and play space of educational institutions of the future: trends, models, cases

The play is a spontaneous, creative, and purposeful activity oriented towards child’s learning and personality development. To make the play effective, the educational institution organizes adequate cognitive and play space. The aim of the article is to analyze the main trends, models and cases of cognition and play space organization as well as the outlining of the most efficient methods that can be applied within the educational institutions of the future. In the article one used a number of theoretical methods including the analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature, the synthesis of research results and the main trends of play space organization in modern educational institutions. The following empirical methods of research were also applied: focus group interviewing, pedagogical observation, and closed questionnaire survey. To process the data obtained during the pedagogical experiment the methods of statistical analysis were used. The research results showed three main models of cognitive and play space organization at the modern educational institutions: nature-based or outdoor, indoor, and virtual ones. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages. The choice depends on the learning objectives, institutional resources, teacher’s pedagogical readiness, technical possibilities of educational process, and external condition. The survey proves that it is necessary to combine the elements of different models to make the learning positive. In such conditions hybrid or mixed cognitive and play space is applied. Such space is focused on learning activity stimulation and child’s personality development in different conditions: outdoors, indoors, and virtually. The research demonstrates that well-designed hybrid cognitive and play space is essential for comprehensive and harmonious development of child’s personality within the educational process. The research showed that hybrid cognitive play space is an appropriate model for the education institutions of the future as it is characterized by dynamism and multifunctionality.

The relevance of the problem of research ethics among law students is actualized by both external and internal factors, which in turn necessitates the search for effective means and methods for developing this quality in academic settings. The external contour is determined, first of all, by obvious changes in public life and its main areas, including education based on the transfer of information and knowledge in the context of globalization, digitalization and integration. In our study, these processes ar e considered as having both positive and negative impacts on education and its stakeholders (students, teachers, etc.).The positive aspects include, inter alia, the possibility to create a unified educational environment; harmonize educational standards; distribute and replicate innovative forms, methods and technologies aimed at improving the quality of higher education; support cross-border interdisciplinary initiatives and projects; expand means and channels of academic communication; strengthen cooperation in academic and research fields; increase institutional and staff competitiveness of universities on the world arena, etc.The negative aspect is associated with digital transformation on a global scale, although it has added visible advantages to education. However, quick and easy access to the World Wide Web (the Internet) and its multiple resources has led to an increase in cases of plagiarism and other forms of academic misconduct among law students, which range from minor (copy & paste, paraphrase, summary, synthesis) to serious offenses (infringement of another's copyrights or violations of research ethics). Internal factors are mediated by external determinants and individual qualities, such as student's disposition and readiness to perceive new trends and realities and follow the ethical norms and standards of academic community.The purpose of this work is to analyze and identify the best strategies and methods to develop academic and research integrity on the basis of Russian universities. We proceeded from the fact that such integrity is achievable only in the unity of the recognition of important social, moral and ethical values and compliance with the norms and standards of academic communication and interaction, regardless of online or offline. To clarify the conceptual apparatus, we singled out and defined terminology related to research, ethics and integrity, namely: academic integrity, academic excellence, research ethics, research integrity, research norms, etc. For comparison, we also conducted a typological analysis of the forms and types of academic dishonesty and misconduct and formulated an action plan to reduce their incidence in the Russian academic community.The key finding of our study is the modeling of university spaces based on the moral code and ethical policy of academia associated with high standards of academic communication and research in accordance with the law.
