“…In BCI brush painting, the Ag NW provides a conduction pathway due to the low resistivity of the Ag NW and percolating network structure. 23,[27][28][29][30][31] The PEDOT:PSS chains act as a conductive matrix connecting the Ag NW network, as shown in Fig. 1(b) of right inset picture.…”

“…More specifically, it increases by slightly orienting the nanorods, but, when these are highly aligned, it shows a drastic decrease, especially at low anisotropies and volume fractions [ 35 ]. There are different options to align nanorods or similar one-dimensional NPs, such as nanowires and nanotubes [ 36 , 37 , 38 , 39 ], but none of them, for the time being, seem to exhibit a notably more accurate control on particle orientation than the others.…”

“…This provides an effective way to enhance the performance of conductors, where the current only needs to flow in one direction . Various assembly strategies have been developed to align AgNWs, for example, microchannel alignment, shear and flow alignment, and capillary-assisted alignment . However, these assembly strategies are more applicable in generating coatings and films, instead of patterning and on-demand printing processes.…”
