“…As presented in Figure 10A, compared with retained 85.68% for Pt/C, the value of current density for HCN-FNFCG-650 is still kept 92.83% of the initial value after 9000-second continuous tests. 4,47,55 While the small change of the HCN-FNFCG-650 has been found at the same conditions. The tolerances to methanol poisoning effect were investigated by chronoamperometric response tests with absolute methanol added; other test conditions are at the same as the stability tests.…”

“…53 Electron transfer channel of the ORR is mainly occupied by 4e − pathway. A Tafel plot slope of the HCN-FNFCG-650 electrode reveal the value of 44.25 mV dec −1 , much lower than that of the 20% Pt/C (69.57 mV dec −1 , closed to previous literatures 4,14,15,32,54,55 . Furthermore, The Tafel curves are obtained and dynamic mechanism of the HCN-FNFCG-650 is further studied, seen to Figure 9D.…”

“…The oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is one of the key half‐reactions being applied in novel forms of energy production; however, to date, it has been shown to be a relatively inefficient energy source due to the kinetics and complex chemical pathways involved. An electrocatalyst is needed to accelerate the ORR . Pt‐based alloys are among the best options due to their extraordinary catalytic activity.…”

“…It should be noted that the microstructures of these N‐MC (especially the introduction of N element) depended on the structures of N‐containing groups in EDTA, dicyandiamide and melamine. The (carboxymethyl)amino group in EDTA results in its good cheating ability to metal ions, which is difficult to be introduced into the matrix of carbon framework . By contrast, the cyano groups in melamine ensures that melamine has been proven as an effective precursor for preparation of N‐doped carbon materials …”
