Fluorescein-linked glycodendrimers 1, 2, 3,a nd 4 were synthesized up to the third generation with glucose surface groups andt riazole as the bridging unit by using aC u I -catalyzed click chemistry protocol. All the synthesized glycodendrimers showed comparable antioxidant behavior to that of the standard with ascorbic acid when testedw ith both the DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl hydrazyl) scavenging assay and HO radicalscavenging assay methods.
