Highly efficient solid‐phase microextraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in water based on worm‐like nickel‐titanium oxide nanocomposites coating grown on a nickel‐titanium alloy wire by low‐voltage anodization

Abstract: A novel worm‐like nickel‐titanium oxide nanocomposite coating was directly grown on a nickel‐titanium alloy wire by low‐voltage electrochemical anodization in alkaline ethylene glycol and water solution. The in situ growth of nickel‐titanium oxide nanocomposites greatly depended on the volume ratio of ethylene glycol to water and temperature. Coupled to high‐performance liquid chromatography with UV detection by static desorption in the mobile phase, the adsorption performance of the as‐prepared fiber was eval… Show more

“…As shown in Table S2, the linear ranges of the established method are wider than the reported methods [13,23,40,41]. Furthermore, the extraction time is shorter than some reported ones [13,22,23,37,39]. LODs are also lower than those of the ESS@MoO 3 ‐SPME‐GC‐FID method [38] or comparable to those of some other methods [13,37].…”

LODs are also lower than those of the ESS@MoO 3 ‐SPME‐GC‐FID method [38] or comparable to those of some other methods [13,37]. Meanwhile, the established method also has satisfactory RSDs and recoveries compared with some methods [13,22,23,39,41].…”

“…However, their limited diversity is not always satisfactory due to the large variety of analytes [15]. Recently, to meet the diverse analytical requirements, various porous materials have been synthesized as novel SPME coatings, for example, graphene [16,17], carbon nitride [18,19], metal/metal oxide nanoparticles [20,21], metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) [22][23][24][25], and covalent organic frameworks [26][27][28].…”

“…But complex operations, long extraction times, and large usage of organic solvents often emerge in their procedures. Hence, several efficient sorbent-based extraction methods such as micro-SPE (μ-SPE) [10], dispersive SPE (DSPE) [11], SPME [12] have been very well-received in recent years.…”
