“…Determination of LMT by adsorptive stripping voltammetry was carried out [ 118 ] by using an AgNP-modified carbon screen-printed electrode, and the LOD obtained was 372 nM after 200 s of accumulation. LMT also was determined [ 119 ] with a pyrolytic graphite electrode and obtained a LOD of 90 nM (after 100 s of accumulation), which makes this method more sensitive. It was observed that AgNP modification gave extremely low sensitivity for this class of drugs, thus this option can be explored deeply for future research which involves the analysis of LMT not only by voltammetry but even by UV–Vis, HPLC etc.…”

“…LAM is a second-generation, poor water-soluble antiepileptic drug from the phenyltriazine and the BSC II class with a relatively good side effect spectrum [36]. It is used for the treatment of epilepsy, Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and bipolar disease in monotherapy or as an adjuvant [37][38][39]. It is absorbed from the GI tract with no significant First Pass Effect (FPE).…”

“…5 Lamotrigine and its metabolites in pharmaceutical products and biological uids typically have been monitored by gas chromatography with a nitrogen phosphorus detector, 6 radioimmuno assay, 7 high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), [8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16] liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry, 17 capillary electrophoresis, 18,19 immunouorometric assay, 20 molecular imprinting technology, 21,22 and voltammetric determination. [23][24][25][26] Owing to the dangerous side effect of LTG, the pharmaceutical quantity control of LTG is vital. So, development of a sensitive and versatile analytical method is needed for its determination.…”
