NiC 21 H 22 O 6 N 6 , orthorhombic, Pnma, a = 18.214(3) Å,
CCDC no.: 929616A part of the title coordination polymer is shown in the figure. Tables 1 and 2 contain details on crystal structure and measurement conditions and a list of the atoms including atomic coordinates and displacement parameters.
Source of material5-methylisophthalic acid (0.02 g, 0.1 mmol), 1,4-bis(triazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene and NiCl 2 (0.02 g, 0.1 mmol) were added to H 2 O (10 mL) in a teflon-lined stainless steel reactor. The mixture was heated at 393 K for 3 days, and then slowly cooled down to room temperature. Green block crystals of the title compound were obtained.
Experimental detailsThe hydrogen atoms were placed at calculated positions with the SHELX program [2] (AFIX options: 43 and 147).
