Abstract: Chromosomes must correctly fold in eukaryotic nuclei for proper genome function. Eukaryotic organisms hierarchically organize their genomes, including in the fungus Neurospora crassa , where chromatin fiber loops compact into Topologically Associated Domain-like structures formed by heterochromatic region aggregation.
