Histoplasmosis: An elusive re-emerging chest infection

Abstract: An immunocompetent patient presenting with disseminated histoplasmosis and superior vena cava obstruction. Features at presentation were in keeping with tuberculosis. Histology of bronchoalveolar lavage specimen clinches the diagnosis of histoplasmosis.
