All components of a life trajectory such as age (Drapeau and McIntosh, 2017; Conejero et al, 2018b), ethnicity (Curtin et al, 2016), socioeconomic status (Lewis et al, 1988; Lee et al, 2017), gender (Freeman et al, 2017) and transgender (Testa et al, 2017), disability (Lund et al, 2015), health concerns (Ahmedani et al, 2017), trauma history (de Mattos Souza et al, 2016), marital status (Kposowa, 2000), stigma and social acceptance (Schomerus et al, 2014), access to healthcare (Tondo et al, 2006), access to toxic substances such as pesticides (Kong and Zhang, 2010), and countless others contribute to suicide risk.
