History of Spinal Canal Endoscopy

Abstract: Epiduroscopy is a new technique for the treatment of chronic low back pain. A historical review of the medical literature shows that clinicians have been working with various types of spinal canal endoscopes for more than 60 years, with varying degrees of success. Today, epiduroscopy/spinal canal endoscopy could be an option for pain management of intractable low back pain.
