HMGA2 Promotes Colorectal Cancer Angiogenesis via Dual Regulation of Sema3A and VEGFA

Abstract: Background: HMGA2 encodes a small non histone chromatin-associated protein that has no intrinsic transcriptional activity, but can modulate transcription by altering the chromatin architecture. HMGA2 was found overexpressed in a variety of epithelial and mesenchymal tumors and promoted invasion and metastasis in most malignant epithelial tumors.
