Abstract:An increasing number of traditional nanostructures are being replaced by self-assembled hierarchical nanostructures in terms of their electrochemical, optical, catalytic, and shielding properties. These morphologies exhibit high packing density, tunable porosity, and a large surface area. One of the most effective ways to stabilize hollow nanostructures is to modify the interfacial interactions and subsequent particle assembly that take place at the water-and-oil interface in inverse mini-emulsion. scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
