Hollow silica-coated porous carbon with embedded iron oxide particles for effective methylene blue degradation

Abstract: A novel catalyst, hollow silica-coated porous carbon embedded with iron oxide (FeOx@C/SiO2), was synthesized by the extended Stöber method.
