Hollow Spherical Hierarchical MoO 3 /SiO 2 –TiO 2 Structures for Photocatalytic Decomposition of Organic Pollutant in Water

Abstract: MoO3/TiO2–SiO2 layered spherical composites with hierarchical structures have been synthesized via a template and sol-gel methods in which TOKEM-320Y anion exchanger was used as template. The properties of MoO3/TiO2–SiO2 spherical composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Scanning electron microscopy, Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, 3D X-ray microtomography, N2 sorption, Infrared and Raman spectroscopies and ultraviolet spectrophotometry.
