Holography and nonlocal operators for the BTZ black hole with nonzero angular momentum

Abstract: We study quark-antiquark potential using the AdS/CFT correspondence in the BTZ black hole with non-zero angular momentum. Using explicit form of string configurations relevant to a calculation of the potential we find that the potential exhibits different dependencies on angular momentum values in the Euclidean and the Lorentzian signatures of the BTZ.

“…Examples of nonlocal objects are Wilson loops, 't Hooft operators, and so on. Complexity of systems with nonlocal operators such as "Wilson loops" are studied in works [155,156,157]. To study the action of the system with nonlocal operators we use the method used in [158,159].…”

“…For d > 2 we cannot exactly solve (5.6) for the switchover radius, but we can obtain an approximation for large and small black holes. The former is especially well motivated, since for large black holes there is a natural interpretation of the switchover as a "confinementdeconfinement" phase transition [37][38][39]…”

“…For instance, in [55] the growth of complexity with the probe brane was studied. In [56] the nonlocal operator was studied in BTZ black hole. More recently, Nagasaki investigated the complexity of AdS 5 black hole via CA by inserting a probe string which moves on a circle in the spacial part of the AdS spacetime [57].…”
