Home Automation System with Universally Used Mobile Application Platform

Abstract: This paper describes an investigation into the potential for different mobile application on home automation systems. It considers problems with their implementation, discusses possible solutions through various Mobile application platform and different network technologies and indicates how to optimize the use of such systems. The home is an eternal, heterogeneous, distributed computing environment which certainly requires a careful study before developing any suitable Home Automation System (HAS) that will a… Show more

“…Another widespread concerning issue of multi-agent collaborative control is the triggering and identifying problem of the scene modes, which refers to the human-computer interaction technology of smart home platforms [ 33 ]. At present, most of the smart home control systems have brought in the graphical interface for user interaction controls [ 34 , 35 , 36 ], for example, Shastri et al designed a kind of Android mobile client and its human-machine interface for smart home systems [ 36 ]. However, the current human-computer interaction interfaces mainly use a blocked strategy based on scene modes, device management, and user profile, and the family users can only use a few simple function keys to achieve smart control, which is difficult to adapt to the differentiated changing needs for different families, and also cannot really achieve the feedback control of interaction interfaces for the entire smart home system [ 37 , 38 ].…”

“…The device must possess the capability to regulate all protocols and operate with any television produced by any manufacturer, encompassing Sony, Panasonic, and Sharp. Notwithstanding these objections, the global remote should operate and adapt automatically to any changes in protocol that may occur on a daily basis [3].…”
