Homophilic interaction of E-Cadherin prevents cell-cell fusion between developing germline and surrounding epithelia inDrosophilaovary

Abstract: In theDrosophilaovary, developing germline cysts are encapsulated by somatic follicle cell epithelia and E-Cadherin localizes to the interface of these tissues.
