Abstract:The efficacy of treatment of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) patients is still unsatisfactory, and there is an ongoing search for novel therapies. Locoregionally advanced HNSCC cases, which frequently require combined surgery and chemoradiotherapy, are especially difficult to treat.
