Hot deformation behavior and microstructural evolution of titanium‐aluminum based alloy during hot compression

Abstract: In this paper, titanium‐aluminum based alloy was successfully prepared by introducing titanium powders using powder metallurgy. The experimental results indicated that the microstructures of alloys were composed of the new trititanium‐aluminium layers skeleton and the γ+α2 phases filler, which exhibited excellent compression properties.
