Households Inclination in Waste Separation Program

Abstract: This paper examines the effect of socio-economic factors on recycling practices among households in Malaysia. Questionnaires were administered to 600 households in the newly emerging conurbation of Iskandar Malaysia Region. The results indicate that socio-economic variables have a significant effect on recycling activities. The results suggest that older people are more inclined to separate the households waste.
