As a field member of the implementation staff in the Indashyikirwa programme in Rwanda observed: ‘Several opinion leaders shared testimonies of change in their relationships by the end line interviews, including men more actively supporting domestic and caregiving roles, more equitable decision‐making, and improved conflict resolution’ (Stern, Heise, Dunkle, et al, 2020).
