How to obtain easily the induced representations of point groups: the icosahedral point groups

Abstract

With tables of subduced representations as a starting point and use of the Frobenius reciprocity theorem, a simple method to obtain induced representations is given. Tables are given of the 22 induced representations of 532 (I) and of the 84 induced representations of 532/m (Ih).
