Abstract: Background The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic underscored the need for pandemic preparedness, with respiratory-transmitted viruses considered as a substantial risk. In pandemics, long‐term care facilities (LTCFs) are a high-risk setting with severe outbreaks and burden of disease.
