Although Hsp27 could be a useful tumor marker in certain subsets of tumors, its suitability as a general prognostic or predictive factor in breast cancer is limited according to present knowledge, and further studies are needed (Ciocca and Vargas-Roig 2002). The data presented here would justify a more detailed study of the value of Hsp22 as a prognostic and predictive factor in breast cancer, possibly in context with expression of Hsp27 and other sHSPs.…”
