There are numerous paths to promote the sustainable development of rural tourism, and this paper focuses on the integration of eco-agriculture and tourism to promote the sustainable development of rural tourism. The study selects statistical data on eco-agriculture and tourism in Huangshan City to construct an evaluation system for eco-agriculture and tourism development. The entropy value method is used to determine the weights of the indicators in the evaluation system, and the comprehensive evaluation model, coupling degree model and coupling coordination degree model are constructed to comprehensively measure the level of integration of eco-agriculture and tourism development. Construct the evaluation system of the benefits of integrated development of eco-agriculture and tourism, and get the comprehensive evaluation score of the benefits of integrated development of eco-agriculture and tourism based on the weights of the entropy value method, so as to measure the comprehensive benefits of the integration of agriculture and tourism. The coupling degree between eco-agriculture and tourism in Huangshan City from 2014 to 2023 always stays above 0.9. Meanwhile, eco-agriculture development and tourism development reach a state of complete coordination in 2023. The comprehensive benefit evaluation score of agro-tourism integration in County M of Huangshan City shows a gradual upward trend from 2014 to 2023. The score reaches 0.91 in 2023, which significantly demonstrates the good benefits of agro-tourism integration and provides the impetus for the construction of a sustainable path of development for rural tourism.
