Hubungan Imunisasi Campak Dengan Kejadian Diare Akut: Meta-Analisis

Abstract

Background: Measles is a highly contagious disease transmitted through viruses belonging to the genus Morbillivirus. Thus, diarrhea occurs in 10-40 percent of measles cases either as a complication or as a secondary infection. Among the available vaccines, the measles vaccine protects against measles and its related complications. Besides the indirect benefits of measles vaccination, such as making children healthier and increasing their ability to fight other pathogens that cause ARI and diarrhea. Research Objective: To determine the extent of the relationship between measles immunization and the incidence of acute diarrhea.
