Abstract:Background: Measles is a highly contagious disease transmitted through viruses belonging to the genus Morbillivirus. Thus, diarrhea occurs in 10-40 percent of measles cases either as a complication or as a secondary infection. Among the available vaccines, the measles vaccine protects against measles and its related complications.
