Abstract:Diarrhea due to infection is a major factor in the morbidity and mortality worldwide. During the inflammation process, there are agents that act as the body's defense against infection, inter alia leukocytes which monocytes are in. The higher the number of leukocytes, the more severe the infection and it can also affect the length of stay (LOS) of patients.
