Introduction: Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is a health problem causing global morbidity and mortality in Indonesia, with 18.8 billion cases and more than six million deaths observed in 2016. Between 2013 and 2018, the diagnosis of ARI prevalence reportedly experienced a 10% decrease from 12.5-2.5%, within 10 provinces, including DKI Jakarta, Indonesia. Methods: This study aims to identify the spatial analysis of ARI events using an ecological method, based on the Air Pollution Standard Index (PSI) at DKI Jakarta between 2018 and 2019. Results and Discussion: Data analysis was performed by mapping case description through Quantum GIS, correlation assessment, as well as linear regression with SPSS scatter plot. Based on the bivariate analysis, the correlation assessment and linear regression of the ARI event with PM10 had positive regression in 2018 and 2019, at (R)0.649 and (R)0.0630, respectively. Conclusion: The highest PM10 values in Kelapa Gading and Cipayung districts increased the case of ARI fluctuations within two years. Therefore, the environmental health service office focused on the air quality evaluation and prevention control of ARI cases.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the environmental health factors associated with the incidence of acute respiratory infections in toddlers at the Bulango Selatan Health Center, Bone Bolango Regency. This type of observational research with a cross sectional study design. The population is households with toddlers in Bulango Selatan District in 2021 as many as 305 households. A sample of 173 households was calculated using the slovin formula and drawn using purposive sampling technique. Univariate analysis in the form of frequency distribution, bivariate analysis was performed using the chi square test. Multivariate analysis was performed by logistic regression test. All data processing and analysis uses SPSS. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between house ventilation (χ2 count 34.479; ρ value 0.000), house humidity (χ2 count 19.737; ρ value 0.000), house lighting (χ2 count 8.176; ρ value 0.004), house roomization (χ2 count 10.473 ; ρ value 0.001), kitchen conditions (χ2 Count 7.874; ρ value 0.005), residential density (χ2 Count 12.210; ρ value 0.000), and exposure to cigarette smoke (χ2 Count 6.25; ρ value 0.012) with disease incidence acute respiratory infections in toddlers at the Bulango Selatan Health Center. House ventilation is the environmental health factor that is most related to the incidence of acute respiratory infections in toddlers at the Bulango Selatan Health Center, Bone Bolango Regency. Toddlers with inadequate ventilation conditions tend to be 7.3 times more at risk of experiencing ARI compared to toddlers living with adequate ventilation conditions.

Infeksi saluran pernapasan akut (ISPA) tergolong sebagai pemicu utama terkait ‎kematian anak berusia kurang dari lima tahun. Penyakit Infeksi Saluran ‎Pernapasan ini menyerang saluran pernapasan atas maupun bawah, dan dapat ‎menyebabkan berbagai sprektum penyakit dari infeksi ringan hingga penyakit ‎parah dan mematikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan ‎kondisi lingkungan fisik rumah dengan kejadian ISPA pada Balita di Wilayah Kerja ‎Puskesmas Mowila Kecamatan Mowila Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Penelitian ini ‎adalah kuantitatif analitik dengan desain cross sectional study. Sampel dalam ‎penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 100 responden yang diperoleh dengan teknik ‎pengambilan sampel propational random sampling. Hasil uji statistic pada tingkat ‎signifikan α = 0,05 diperoleh hasil, ada hubungan yang bermakna antara ventilasi ‎rumah (p-value = 0,000) dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita. Tidak ada hubungan ‎bermakna antara pencahayaan alami rumah (p-value= 0,411) dengan kejadian ISPA ‎pada balita. Ada hubungan bermakna antara jenis lantai rumah (p-value= 0,005), ‎dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita. Ada hubungan bermakna antara jenis dinding ‎rumah (p-value= 0,000) dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita. Kesimpulan dari ‎penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan bermakna antara ventilasi rumah, jenis dinding ‎rumah, jenis lantai rumah dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita, dan tidak ada ‎hubungan yang bermakna antara pencahayaan alami rumah dengan kejadian ISPA ‎pada balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mowila.‎
