Abstract:Recently, it has been very common for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) to be used in several applications (surveillance, home automation, and vehicle tracking), as well as in environmental monitoring and wildlife tracking. A typical sensor node has a limited amount of battery life. To overcome this, one method is to use an energy harvesting device to recharge the batteries of sensor nodes. Energy reaping WSNs still lack intelligent strategies for intelligently using both energy organization and harvesting syste… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
